A seasoned veteran of the commercial real estate industry, Nancy Lemas specializes in the sale of commercial investment properties. For the past 11 years Nancy has owned and operated Commercial Northwest Real Estate Company, a full service investment, leasing and property management company, located in Boise, Idaho. She recently affiliated her company with KW Commercial and is a member of the Commercial Leadership Council (CLC). Previously, Nancy spent eight years with the national firm of Marcus & Millichap, where she was awarded the designation of Senior Investment Advisor, given to only 35 of the firm's 500 agents for their continuous outstanding top sales production. During her eight years in the company's San Francisco office, Nancy handled numerous transactions including shopping centers, industrial projects, office buildings and apartments for her clients. She has closed more than $250,000,000 of commercial real estate throughout the Western United States. Nancy is a licensed broker in Idaho, Oregon, and California.
Nancy is the co-founder and past Director of the Women in Commercial Real Estate National Network (CREW), an international association that provides extensive networking for professional women involved in the commercial real estate industry. Nancy also shared her knowledge in commercial real estate with industry professionals through her monthly real estate investment column featured in the Bay Area Commercial Property Guide.
As a teenager, she traveled throughout the United States for the international musical show Up With People. Graduating cum laude (BS Business Administration) from the University of Nevada at Reno, she was the only recipient of the Wall Street Student Achievement Award. Nancy entered the insurance industry becoming dual licensed in casualty and life and health insurance. She quickly became a Million-Dollar-Round-Table Qualifier within two years of entering this industry.
During the late 1970's, Nancy was an account executive with Levi Strauss and Co., handling Levi's major accounts including The Gap, Macys, Mervyns and the Military South Pacific Exchange bases. She is the founder of FEC Systems, a consulting group to the family entertainment, leisure, amusement, childcare and museum industries.
The knowledge and experience Nancy has gained across many industries, including retail, wholesale, finance and marketing, further compliment her commercial real estate knowledge. As a community leader she is active in the Downtown Boise Rotary Club and is the past President. She currently is a commissioner of the Boise City Arts and History Commission. Nancy also chairs the committee of Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) for District 5400. Each year she facilitates a four-day leadership conference for 17-18-year olds throughout southern Idaho and eastern Oregon. Nancy served on Boise Valley Economic Partnership New Business Attraction Board and served on the Mayor's Education Summit. Nancy has also served on committees for the Leadership Boise Academy for the Boise Chamber of Commerce, as well as Albertson College Business Advisory Committee. She is the 2001 Idaho Entrepreneur Excellence Award winner, and received Idaho's 2003 Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Nancy is an avid dealmaker who brings an impressive foundation of business experiences to her many clients.
